EVENTS OFFICER
Are you passionate about creating vibrant community experiences? If you love bringing people together and creating unforgettable experiences, we want you on our team!
Moviola is the parent company of the Melbourne Comic and Toy Fair, Melbourne Collectors Market, Bendigo Pop Culture Expo and our new brand Artist Alley. We are a small family run business that is expanding!
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Events Officer to plan, coordinate, and deliver a fantastic lineup of events across Melbourne, Adelaide and beyond!
You’ll be at the heart of the action — helping to bring to life everything from lively Toy Fairs, Art Conventions, Collectors Markets and more. Working closely with the management team, event partners and stakeholders, you’ll manage every detail, making sure events run smoothly and leave everyone with a smile.
This role is perfect if you’re organised, love juggling logistics, and enjoy working with lots of different people. You’ll be overseeing events in partnership with management; stakeholder relationships, venue management, sponsors, contractors and collaborating across teams to create events that celebrate Popular Culture, creativity, and connection.
From dreaming up event ideas to wrapping up with a post-event review, you’ll be involved in every step of the journey — making sure Moviola’s and its network of events are nothing short of spectacular.
The Person
You’re a natural organiser with a passion for people and a knack for turning ideas into amazing experiences. You thrive in busy environments, love collaborating with different teams, and enjoy building strong relationships with community members and stakeholders. You are creative, proactive, detail-focused and will bring energy and positivity to every project!
Why work at Moviola?

Excellent work-life balance.
Freedom to direct super contributions to any compliant superannuation fund
