what can i sell at your events?

you may apply to attend as a vendor to our events if you offer anything pop culture but not limited to. eg: comics, toys, posters, gaming related, movie or tv related items, anime, trading cards pop vinyls, fan art etc.

applied but was not accepted why?

We receive a huge number of applicants. we unfortunately cannot accept everyone. your unsuccessful application does not mean your items are unsuitable. it may just be that we have already accepted vendors with items similar to yours. Please feel free to apply again in the future.

Are tables included in the stall costs?

No. Trestle tables are not included in the stall costs. Tables can be hired for $10.00.

Are chairs included in my stall costs?

For the Melbourne Comic and Toy Fair 2x chairs are Included in your stall cost. if you require extra chairs you can hire them for $5 as an optional extra during the application process

For the Melbourne Collectors Market no chairs are included you will need to bring your own. For this event we wont be hiring out chairs.

Can i bring my own tables and displays?

You most certainly can. You are not obligated to hire our tables. please note though that our venues are generally indoor basketball stadiums. Any major damage that you cause to the floors will be your responsibility. We do however have rubber squares that you can use to place under any table or displays you bring. Please bring a trolley to transport your goods. So they’re not dragged along the floors

Is Public Liability insurance required as a vendor?

Yes all vendors are required to have Public Liability Insurance for the Melbourne Comic and Toy Fair. Either providing their own policy or covered under our policy as an optional extra. For the Melbourne Collectors Market we will provide cover you under our policy.

How much time is provided to set up and pack up my stall?

The bump in and out times vary depending on the event. For the Melbourne Comic and Toy Fair bump in is usually from approx 3pm the day prior to the event plus 3hrs before the event opens to the public. Bump out is from the time the event closes to the public at 3pm until 6pm.

For the Melbourne Collectors Market bump in is 2hrs between 7am-9am the morning of the event. and 1hr at the conclusion.

You will need to be onsite and have all merchandise inside the venue no later than 30 minutes prior to doors opening to the public.

do you provide insurance cover for our stock during the event?

no we do not provide stock in trade cover. This is not a requirement to have for trading but is highly recommeded. it can be provided by most insurance companies.

is parking available on site?

yes all our venues have on site parking for vendors with easy access to the venue.

will your events still run if the weather is terrible?

yes our events are all indoors and will proceed rain hail or shine.

what happens if the event is cancelled?

it is very rare that we will cancel an event. In the instance that we do we will facilitate a transfer of your application to an alternate date or issue a refund.

can i sell food at the Melbourne Collectors Market OR Melbourne Comic and Toy Fair?

Yes. Provided you are Streat Trader registered and have your own Public Liability insurance as we cannot cover this type of vendor.

How many staff passes can i have to help me on the day?

Each vendor will be issued with 2x stall holder passes for the first stall and 1x pass for each additional stall. extra passes can be purchased for $5.00 each.
